So, what should I say here? Something about Rogue-Dolls? Or something about myself. Lets talk about Rogue-Dolls. Rogue-Dolls is the product that was born after I begged my mom to buy me a domain on my 18th birthday (no, not an 18th birthday. It is another birthday. I just won’t disclose my age to you and I will forever be 18. If Edward Cullen can be 17 forever, I have the right to be 18 forever). I got interested in web designing when I saw a lot of graphics website on the net. These websites sort of influence me to have a website of my own. It doesn’t have to be big. Just some place where I can display my personal work properly. Before this, I had joined an anime forum called AnimeOST.net. I left that place after I got sick of a moderator. I don’t usually get annoyed easily by people but this moderator had made the place a very uninteresting place to socialize and display your work. He/She keeps on deleting and closing threads and he/she acts like she is the most important person in the whole wide world (it is just animeost.net, bitch. Why don’t you chill?). You gave one person an iota of power. (Yes! and iota! Its just closing and deleting and banning people!) but unfortunately for you, the person with that power acts so arrogant! So, I left and display my graphics else where.
A girl that I met in the forum gave me an opportunity to display my work in her website. I work as a normal stuff member in her website at first. The girl’s name is Maya and she owns Allianora. In case you never notice, Allianora is one of Rogue-Dolls lovely affiliates. Maya decided to work on her own and kicked out all of her staff members including me. Not long after that, she decided to have a co-web mistress and she invited me to work with her. She taught me how to use an FTP and a CMS. My first ever CMS was Cutenews. It is very easy and simple to use. Thanks to Maya, I know all the tricks to get a site up and running smoothly.
Although working with Maya was fun. I do feel restricted. For example, I can’t easily change the site’s layout without Maya’s permission. Even though she never restrict me, I do feel restricted because the site is not mine. It is like being in someone else’s house. You can’t really buy a new furniture without asking them unless if the furniture is meant to be in your room. What if I want to change the living room? So I decided to beg my mom and ask her to buy me a domain. Rogue-Dolls was born!
I decided to work with Maya even though I had my own site but she kicked me out with the reason that she wanted me to focus more on my site. Even though I stopped working with Maya, we are still friends and she is one of my affiliates and a Facebook friend.
Rogue-Dolls acts as my playground. Where I can not only update and display my graphics on, but it is also the place where I get to experiment with various types of web development tools. Recently, I had learned Php/Mysql and I get to write scripts that are useful to Rogue-Dolls. I might be releasing some of these scripts so my visitor can use it as well.
Rogue-Dolls was previously powered by Cutenews and is currently powered partially by WordPress. Why partially? Because some of rogue-dolls contents are currently powered by scripts that I wrote myself. It will be fully powered by WordPress once I convert the scripts to WordPress plugins.
Rogue-Dolls is only one year old. It is my brain child. It was born on 5th June. The same as my birthday. There you go. A rough history on Rogue-Dolls.
