Hey guys! Do you find it weird that I become suddenly active and update quite frequently now? Well get use to it babies! It is just that I am planning to be more active and convert my graphic site to a blog/graphics site and also a place to contribute to people. I was planning to write a tutorial today but I decided to draw and make textures instead. I have two textures with me and I had deleted some old ones. The ones that I found ugly and uninteresting. I had also successfully converted my texture page to WordPress. I want to do that for the brushes sections too. Just wondering how can I convert my icons page? That is pretty hard. Maybe I should just use a normal gallery plugin.

You can download them in the texture sections. Okay, I have tried my hands on creating my own original art. An original art that is going to give me the right to sue somebody if they steal it. An art that can actually let me throw a huge proper fit without someone saying, “The character in that art isn’t yours! Why are you so pissed off if someone steals it?” Well, even if someone did say that, I could actually punch them in their faces cause the characters and the arts are MINE! All MINE! Muahaha!

Okay, back to the art. I had try to draw it and then redraw it in Photoshop. I want something to represent Rogue-Dolls. Something awfully weird and hopefully cute. And I had came up with this. It is not perfect as I am not a pro illustrator so don’t laugh! I am an amateur when it comes to this and I am looking forward to perfect my skill. Come on, we all have to start somewhere. I hope you guys like it and find it as cute as I do. It is not the original size, of course. I think it could be the mascot of Rogue-Dolls. *ehem* Be nice, boys and girls:

I hope you guys find it cute! My aunt and sister thinks that it could be made into a t-shirt. I am not really a pro when it comes to drawing and illustrating and I am always looking forward to make my skills better. I will search for more tutorials on vectoring and shading. Or if you know a good tutorial regarding that, post them here!

So I am feeling rather gloomy today. Maybe it has something to do with my boyfriend. We broke up. Oh well, I feel that it is pointless to continue a relationship if you guys are total opposites. I guess this site actually keeps me sane. It is some sort of therapy to write about things you like and do things that you like to do. I am planning to write a tutorial after this but I am going to experiment with some techniques in JQuery. JQUERY AGAIN?! Well, I think it is an interesting topic and I find it useful.

I am planning to write on a tutorial regarding PHP/MySQL. Would you guys find it interesting to learn about how to database your icons? Put in your thoughts about it below. What sort of tutorials do you want to see more in Rogue-Dolls?

Do you ever encounter an awkward situation with a friend, family members, relatives or generally anybody else? An awkward situation that left you speechless and all you can do is blush and laugh awkwardly and wish that you are somewhere else at the moment. Let me tell you about my awkward situation when I was visiting a family relative back in Indonesia. As some of you know, I am quarter Indonesian and some of my family relatives are there in Jakarta, Indonesia. I visited this woman who is technically my aunt. Maybe. I am not so sure about what kind of ties do I have with her. I am quite close to her and she seems nice to me. She treats me like her own daughter (my mom says it is probably because she never had any daughter before. She had 2 sons and they are all married now). We are not that close any more since we live in different countries now. Though she is nice, she seems a little bit weird and awkward and she likes to say stuff that will create an awful awkward situation.

So one day, I was sitting with her. Having a cup of tea until she starts talking about her…private parts. So she was telling me about another relative’s struggling battle with an itching vajayjay. She told me that she had helped cure this relative’s disease by using some special potion that she made. Riggghhht. Did Professor Snape taught you how to mix them? But no, it didn’t stop there. She kept on telling me that this ‘potion’ that she created with a bunch of weird plants can make a vajayjay smoother. SAY WHAT?! This is the exact same thing that she told me:

“It is true my dear Ren. If you check out my vajayjay, you will notice that it is smoother than a porn star” -Unknown Aunt

“*Laughs Awkwardly* No thanks, auntie. *Continue to laugh awkwardly*” -Ren

So what did I do in the middle of this weird situation? I continue to laugh awkwardly (it sounds a bit like *ehe ehe ehe*) while she continues on bragging about her fantabulous vajayjay! But that is not the most torturing part! She even offered to ‘cure’ my vajayjay! I told her that there is nothing wrong with mine but she kept on saying that it will make mine smoother! So I just decline politely. She even gave me a recipe on how to create the ‘potion’. I am not interested to know so I threw that recipe away but I did remember that one of the ‘secret ingredient’ is to mix those weird plants with a baby oil.

Fascinating. I told my mom and my grandma about this and they laugh hysterically together. Mom says that she should be in the loony bin. But then again, most of my family relatives had been diagnosed with mental illness before. Some is very severe but controllable if you take medicine. These kind of diagnosis in the family makes me wonder if I have a mental illness. My friends told me that I may have a LITTLE BIT of mental illness.

On a side note, some of my visitors had thanked me via email on the tutorials that I had posted. They had also ask me why am I suddenly posting tutorials for you guys to feast upon. I think if I die, I’ll be useless so the only thing that will keep on living is the knowledge that I spread around. Why don’t you guys stop asking questions and just enjoy the tutorials. I’ll be posting more, babies!

I had just finished refining some scripts that I had written for my site. I am not sure if I wanted to release them or not but we will see.

So how sexy is the new Rogue-Dolls? It is very sexy to me! I hope you find it sexy too! Welcome to the new Rogue-Dolls. I had revamped everything from the layout to the Content Management Systems. The site is currently running on WordPress 3.0. I have to admit, WordPress is a beautiful piece of software. I never thought I would revamped everything as I was planning to just stick with Cutenews. I was experimenting with Fantastico one night and installed one of the CMS offered. When I look at WordPress and it’s interface, I love it! I am still getting use to a lot of things though. Compared to Cutenews, WordPress is more complicated but it is more powerful. One of the bad part is I am using some of my script to run the site such as the icon management script and also the download manager. I am not planning to change that yet and it is not compatible with WordPress. I need to convert most of my scripts to WordPress Plugins to make it compatible but that is so tedious and I am not planning to do that for the time being. I want to focus on my graphics.

First off, my apologies for being inactive for a while. If you are a loyal reader and a frequent visitor, I had mentioned earlier that I was involved in redesigning an investment company’s website and I was busy focusing on that. Now, the website is done and I can fully focus on Rogue-Dolls now. I must say I learned a lot after working with a company. I thought I was good when it comes to HTML and CSS but apparently, there are a lot of things that I am unclear with and working with that company helped me to discover more things and learn new stuff that I am not familiar with. I am planning to write a tutorial on a topic that I do not quite understand before this (regarding HTML and CSS) but after working there, it clears out my doubts a lot. Lets talk about the layout now.

So, I want something really different from the previous layouts. I decided to design something that doesn’t involve anime, models, actors, actresses, J-rock, J-pop, etc. I decided that I need something new. Something that will look good for a very long time and will not bores me easily. The current layout bores me even though it looks good. I am guessing it is the white background. So I came up with a typography. I don’t know how it happen. I was listening to a song by Marilyn Manson and I was messing with photoshop and this is the product. Ren + Marilyn Manson + Molesting Photoshop = Typography Layout. I was singing out loud and without noticing it, I was typing the lyrics on this layout! It was really unplanned. The lyrics are from Marilyn Manson song titled Coma White. I know Manson is weird but I like him and his songs so don’t judge me. I hope you guys like the new layout. I know it is different from the past ones but it is time for a change (this does not mean that I will stop making anime icons! I am still obsessed with them! But I don’t think my layout will be based on animes anymore). Most of the pages are done. Except for the main pages. It is still ugly! So don’t click on it! I still need to style it.

So what is the future of Rogue-Dolls? I’ll be treating this website as my blog. No more as a graphic site any more. Graphics will still be posted but it will also be a place where I get to rant and you guys will be force to listen. What will I rant about? Let see. Why do people record sex tapes of themselves and why do they cry when it got leaked? A very interesting topic and I think these people need a hobby! If you don’t want it to leaked, don’t record it in the first place. It will always, always, always, always (I repeat), ALWAYS LEAKED! Lets get into that later. Back to Rogue-Dolls, so yeah, it will be my little sanctuary!

I’ll be changing some of the previews in the icon textures sections. Some actually hurts my eyes. I’ll do it sometime tomorrow. I am currently also expanding my knowledge on Java. No, not the Indonesian island. Java, the Programming Language.

So that is about it. I missed designing icon textures and anime icons. I might put some in here later. I hope you guys love it. Oh well, Its 12:18 am here and I need to go to bed. I usually sleep around 2.00 am but I am getting old.

Oh, I just got myself a new laptop. It is in RED COLOUR and I love it! It is a Dell Studio XPS 16 but by the looks of it, it is so heavy. It could be use as a gaming platform as well. The first game that I am going to play on it is Resident Evil 5! Yes baby! Can’t wait. Okay, I really need to stop typing.

Yes, I know it is written that the author is Renetta Renula. But that is me. What do you think of the name Renetta Renula. It sounds awkward to me but I like it due to that reason. Night Guys!
