I hate morons too, but wow, those people are beyond moronic, they’re downright rude! What happened to “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”?? Sorry you had to put up with that sort of crap, I know if I had to deal with that I wouldn’t like going to weddings either.

Sounds like a lot happened in 2011 for you ;D A lot of it sounds fun and if you ever do see Les Miserables (which I did see last December) you’ll love it.

I really do love your theme and you’re right. Not everyone is going to like it but alas, I think it’s pretty (maybe because I love the color blue in general and this theme has so much of it. Lol).

Amen. This is the second reason I hate going to social events. There are always some morons that I don’t know. The first reason would be that social events are boring of course.

Nice conversations, aha. That obese man really is a douchebag who thinks he’s funny when he’s ridiculous. But I never would be able to say that to a family friend. I’d get yelled at. Whenever I act like that I get a lecture from my mom, and a “Why do you think you’re so good?” from my dad. I’ve actually had anyone like the moron talk to my parents before, but I’ve had plenty of people say that kind of stuff to me. People with no life.

Unfortunately I’m not proud of my university, nor my high school. I find it hard to be proud of a “group” I belong in. However that doesn’t mean I’m okay with stupid people who don’t know shit talking about my schools. So basically same concept?

I HATE social events too! If I don’t HAVE to go then I won’t. I never ever ever…liked weddings and now that I am having one I am making it a simple party with only close friends and family. No second cousins from some unknown uncle etc…

I love all your friends comments. Thank you so much everyone for supporting my girl. I especially like Han’s comment. I do agree Ren Aysha has a very positive outlook as well as a balanced negative attitude. She’ll just say her mind without a care.. I have a laissez faire parenting style so I usually let Ren and Iman (her younger sister) do whatever they want and say whatever they wanna say. Other adults may find them ‘rude’ but I don’t care because rude people even if they are adults deserve rude answers.. I just smile but when I see the situation blinking red ‘mayday, mayday’, I’d usually divert my daughters attention and engage with them in some random topic conversation. Ignoring the rude bastard..

Being Asian, I am also a bit of a ‘Tiger Mummy’, so Ren knows I do have high expectation from her. But she’s rewarded well whenever she fulfills my expectations. My justification about rewards to my off-spring is simple (there are some friends who tell me that I am spoiling my children as I reward them everytime they do well academically).

I told my friend, if during their Performance Management Review at work and they’ve done very well and the Company they work in don’t give them bonuses, share options or other employment benefits, will they be disappointed? Would they still work hard for that Company they are working in? They said, no. They’ll try to find another job & not work so hard..

Well I said, that’s exactly why I am always rewarding my daughters for a job well done. They’ll feel appreciated for their hardwork and will strive to work harder.. If not rewarded, why should they want to work harder? Human nature – feels good when hardwork is appreciated..

Today, I bought a Lesport Sac backpack for Iman but she can’t use it until she Ace her Physics, Chemistry and Math papers. I hang the backpack in her room where she can see it but can’t use it until she fulfills my demand.. Yeah, I know.. I’m mean right hahaha.

Btw, Ren Aysha, the Obese Man gave us a Persian cat today. His maid quits (this is I think maid number 13) so nobody can take care of that cat, so he wants me to have it because he knows I take care of my cats well

Oh yay! I am so happy to know that you apply to my school! I hope that you’ll get accepted, Stephie! I am pretty sure you will get accepted. My school loves students who are passionate about their majors and I know that you are passionate when it comes to robotics. You mentioned a lot of times on your blog that you love fiddling with robots!
