Hey guys! Do you find it weird that I become suddenly active and update quite frequently now? Well get use to it babies! It is just that I am planning to be more active and convert my graphic site to a blog/graphics site and also a place to contribute to people. I was planning to write a tutorial today but I decided to draw and make textures instead. I have two textures with me and I had deleted some old ones. The ones that I found ugly and uninteresting. I had also successfully converted my texture page to WordPress. I want to do that for the brushes sections too. Just wondering how can I convert my icons page? That is pretty hard. Maybe I should just use a normal gallery plugin.

You can download them in the texture sections. Okay, I have tried my hands on creating my own original art. An original art that is going to give me the right to sue somebody if they steal it. An art that can actually let me throw a huge proper fit without someone saying, “The character in that art isn’t yours! Why are you so pissed off if someone steals it?” Well, even if someone did say that, I could actually punch them in their faces cause the characters and the arts are MINE! All MINE! Muahaha!
Okay, back to the art. I had try to draw it and then redraw it in Photoshop. I want something to represent Rogue-Dolls. Something awfully weird and hopefully cute. And I had came up with this. It is not perfect as I am not a pro illustrator so don’t laugh! I am an amateur when it comes to this and I am looking forward to perfect my skill. Come on, we all have to start somewhere. I hope you guys like it and find it as cute as I do. It is not the original size, of course. I think it could be the mascot of Rogue-Dolls. *ehem* Be nice, boys and girls:

I hope you guys find it cute! My aunt and sister thinks that it could be made into a t-shirt. I am not really a pro when it comes to drawing and illustrating and I am always looking forward to make my skills better. I will search for more tutorials on vectoring and shading. So I am feeling rather gloomy today. Maybe it has something to do with my boyfriend. We broke up. Oh well, I feel that it is pointless to continue a relationship if you guys are total opposites. I guess this site actually keeps me sane. It is some sort of therapy to write about things you like and do things that you like to do. I am planning to write a tutorial after this but I am going to experiment with some techniques in JQuery. JQUERY AGAIN?! Well, I think it is an interesting topic and I find it useful.

Anyways, the new textures look quite grungily awesome and your vector art is so cute! It reminds me of these little cute voodoo doll things we have here in a store that came from Japan. Unfortunately, I don’t vector (I do non-cell shading CG), so I can’t help you there, but I’m sure you can find some good tutorials just by searching deviantart.
I’m sorry to hear about your breakup with your boyfriend, but if you two really were total opposites, then it might be a good thing. Just remember that there are other fish in the sea. Pretty sure you can pluck out a nice tuna or salmon in the future. ^^
And yes, I would quite like to learn how to database icons so I won’t have to slowly add them, then re-upload my page.

About your question on how to database your icons (or rather making a dynamic gallery using PHP and MySQL).
If you are using wordpress or any other type of cms, I guess it’s not a good idea to create another or separate code for the icon page. You can always get around by downloading a plugin/modules or extensions for that certain cms.
Well for wordpress, NextGEN Gallery is a popular extension/plugin conpatible with version 3.0.1. You can add descriptions and META datas into your images.

But since you brought up the idea about making a dynamic icons page, it would be good if you can share it with us and I can always integrate it to my PHP projects^^

I know that it is a bad idea to use something else rather than a WordPress page. That is why I am looking forward to convert all my stuffs to WordPress plugins or find a plugin that is similar to it. I had scripted everything on my website with PHP/MySQL. Since I have no use for it once I convert everything to WordPress, I might write a tutorial on it or release the script for public usage.
I heard about NextGEN. Was planning to use it for my icons pages. Thanks for the heads up, Brixter.

Well NextGEN is excellent, just look at the number of downloads it’s getting.
I saw similar design sites that implements wordpress plugins to display their layouts, I don’t know if they coded it or downloaded at the repository of wordpress though.

Well yes, My textures are all displayed under wordpress plugins that I had downloaded. The wp-download manager.

The other day, I was trying to get WordPress to work, but then I realized that it only works of MySQL users. That wasted my 10mins of uploading!

@Olivia: Well, ask your host to provide you with mysql/php. I think it is better for you to convert completely to WordPress since WordPress is more suitable than Cutenews. Cutenews is just a bad script. I used it for one year and I ca’t take it anymore. It is just so vulnerable!
